Everything You Need to Know About pH Balanced Water
What exactly is pH?

The "potential hydrogen" (pH) scale ranges from 0 on the acidic
side to 14 on the alkaline, and is neutral if its pH is 7. The
pH scale is a logarithmic scale, so a change of one pH unit is actually a change
x10 in the concentration. pH 6 means you are ten times more acidic
than pH 7.
As an example, a popular Cola at a pH of 2.5 is almost 50,000
times more acidic than neutral water. Your system has to compensate with the
equivelent of 32 glasses of neutral (pH 7) water to counteract the consumption
of one Cola.
the Importance of Balacing pH
Living things, including humans, are extremely sensitive to pH and overall,
function best when solutions are nearly neutral. A blood pH of 6.9
can induce coma and death. That is why your system of pH balancing takes
primary importance within your own body. Your body will willingly shut down digestion,
alter temperature, rob your bones of calcium, deprive your pancreas just to
maintain adequate alkalinity to balance the tide of acid we
inflict upon ourselves through diet and stress.
Am I acidic?
Odds are: yes. In fact, 99% of people are. To find out exactly how acidic you
are, you can take a litmus test... but
let’s start with the obvious...
Here’s a list of extremely acidic foods. See anything familiar?
